Public solution specialist UNFINE has deployed its AI-based electronic audit solution 'U-Audit v2.0' to Kangwon Land. The 'Smart Audit System (KLAS)' officially launched operations through an opening ceremony held at Kangwon Land on December 29.

Leveraging generative AI, the system moves beyond traditional post-audit methods to enable 'preventive auditing that detects anomalies in advance.' Key features include intelligent investigation and analysis, automated audit report generation, and proactive risk detection.

UNFINE CEO Cho Ki-hyun stated, 'We will present a standard model that leads AI transformation beyond digital transformation in public auditing.' This marks the second public institution adoption following the Gyeonggi Provincial Audit Commission.

Local governments and public enterprises that have adopted AI-based electronic audit systems are accelerating the digital transformation of their audit operations. The shift marks a move away from conventional auditing methods that relied on experience and intuition, toward a structured audit framework powered by data and AI.

Moving beyond traditional post-audit approaches, the AI analyzes large volumes of data to detect anomalies in advance, enabling 'preventive auditing.' Natural language query technology has been optimized for field operations, supporting the retrieval of past audit cases and document preparation.

UNFINE's 'U-Audit v2.0' has been adopted as the smart audit platform for Gyeonggi Province and construction has been completed. The completion was officially announced at the Start Day event held at the Suwon Convention Center on the 19th.

A key feature of the platform is the elimination of fragmented document management practices by digitizing all data, ensuring continuity in audit operations and breaking down administrative silos between departments. Notably, this deployment incorporates AI technology that enables natural language queries to search past audit cases and perform data analysis. As a result, auditors can instantly locate the information they need from vast volumes of data and generate more sophisticated audit insights.

Choi Il-dong, Inspector at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, evaluated it as 'a leading model for transitioning from experience and intuition-based auditing to digital and AI-based auditing.' UNFINE CEO Cho Ki-hyun stated, 'This is the first project attempted among local governments nationwide' and 'we will pursue nationwide expansion.'
